how to copy a value from another cell by using a one key entry
I have a really simple worksheet, one part of which is a list of all the
tenants with the amount of their rents in a separate column. When I receive the checks, I enter these in another column, dated to the day of the deposit. My question is, I would like to expedite the entries by using a one key entry when the amount entered in the rent column and the amount of the check are the same. Anyone have an idea? Marlene |

Perhaps use a macro to copy that cell with with the amount and insert
the date. jgpac00000 wrote: I have a really simple worksheet, one part of which is a list of all the tenants with the amount of their rents in a separate column.
