multiple users in 2007 Excel document at one time
We have an Excel doc. on our server that we all use. Is there a way we can
have multiple users in it at one time making changes? Currently if someone else is already in the document, I get a read only message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Look up "Shared Workbook" in Excel Help, specifically click the
"Use a shared workbook to collaborate" link RageBrad wrote: We have an Excel doc. on our server that we all use. Is there a way we can have multiple users in it at one time making changes? You should understand that most people who have tried sharing workbooks of
any importance now run screaming from anyone who suggests it. A certain percentage of Excel features are unavailable in shared workbooks, and these workbooks are prone to corruption and data loss. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Peltier Technical Services, Inc. http://PeltierTech.com/WordPress/ Advanced Excel Conference - Training in Charting and Programming http://peltiertech.com/Training/2009...00906ACNJ.html _______ "Bob I" wrote in message ...
