Transfer Works 2000 .wks files to Excel 2007

How do I transfer .wks files from Works 2000 Excel (Windows ME) to my new
Windows Vista and Office Home/Student 2007. When I try to open them, I get
an error message on the new computer. Can anyone help me?

Excel 2007 won't open wks files. Try using Open Office, then save from
there in Excel format.
