Displaying highlighted cells sum

Hi,

I'm trying to get my Excel 2003 (running on Windows XP) to display the sum
of highlighted cells in the lower right hand corner of the screen. My
computer at work does this, but I can't get my home computer to do this.

Any suggestions?
