Calculating a weighted average in a pivot table
I have a data set that includes the IRR for each purchase my company has made. I am wanting to calculate a weighted average IRR for the year each purchase was made. I have tried writing a formula, however, the results are not what I expect. This is the current formula I have attempted... = SUM('Net IRR' *amt_face )/SUM(amt_face ) The results are too high. Thanks. -- mrogge ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrogge's Profile: http://www.thecodecage.com/forumz/member.php?userid=238 View this thread: http://www.thecodecage.com/forumz/sh...ad.php?t=86830 |
