Duplicate Words in a Cell

Has anyone ever encountered the following: entering text into one cell &
when you hit enter the words automatically duplicate, e.g., let's say you
type the words "brown dog" in cell A2 and when you hit the enter key you
would get "brown dog brown dog" in cell A2. This doesn't happen in other
columns already in the worksheet or columns you add, just that particualr
column.

If you have encountered this problem, please tell me how it happened and how
you corrected it.

Thank you.

Duplicate Words in a Cell

If there are no macros effecting the change,
check the Number Formatting for those cells.

From the Excel Main Menu:
<format<cells<number tab

I suspect you'll find it's:
Category: Custom
Type: @@

If you want all entries to be text,
change the settings to:
Category: Text

Does that help?
