2007 Tables (Subtotal)
I'm using the 2007 tables and am at a loss as to how to deal with a
particular situation. Basically what i am trying to achieve is to have a table that has 2 rows attached to a particular stock (to deal with different payment dates) and a subtotal within a larger table that will consist of multiple tables. Sample of the data is below. COMPANY,DATE PAID,UNFRANKED,FRANKED, NEWS 30/09/2008 $70.00 30/03/2008 $20.00 Total $20.00 $70.00 I can work out how to add to the table for a new stock, Copying and pasting doesn't seem to copy the table (unless i include the heading of which i dont want for every stock). I may be approaching this wrong but am looking for any assistance. Thanks, |
2007 Tables (Subtotal)
Hi
What I think you need to use is Data tabSubtotals. But first, you will need to repeat the company name in the blank cells. Select column AF5SpecialBlanksOK. This will select all the blank cells below the company name. Now type = and press the Up arrow on the keyboard followed by Control+Enter This will fill the blanks with the company name. DataSubtotalsAt each change in CompanySumFranked and UnfrankedOK -- Regards Roger Govier "GMC" wrote in message ...
