I hope someone can help me. My question is, is there any way to put in a
boarder halfway in a single cell. I know upper, lower left right and box in a
cell. But I need to put one in the middle of a single cell.

Hope someone can help.

Sorry, no horizontal mid-cell border. There is a diagonal that can run
top-left-to-lower-right or top-right-to-lower-left.

You could perhaps use a line from the drawing menu (View | Toolbars |
Drawing) it will stretch if the column is made wider, but won't reposition
itself if the row is made taller/shorter.
