Hi, i am trying to sort data that has been identify by colors. Can it be done?
can i sort data by color ?

I assume that you are wanting to use conditional formatting for this little
endeavor.

However, as far a I know there is currently no way to sort it as such.
Sorry if this wasn't the answer you were looking for.

Just so I know, are you coloring them through conditional formatting or are
you just changing the color manually?

One problem I can see with this option, and that is if this spreadsheet is
meant to be distributed. If you intend to distribute this among computers,
each will be required to have this item.

The code is within a module in the workbook so will be distributed with the
workbook.

I don't see a problem.
