Find and Replace function not working
I have three different list of customers, actually one list that is set up
based on different criteria, (#1 name, #2 address, #3 salesman). Each list is set up so that each beginning letter is seperated as such; A Adams B Bobby On one list, the "find and replace" feature works perfect, the next one it works sometimes, not all the time, and the last list it does not work at all. What is the problem? And how do I fix it? Thanx |

How are your lists built?, are they created by formula or is it a table? has the data been imported? It's quite possible that you have leading spaces or similar problem. wt.pm;305921 Wrote: I have three different list of customers, actually one list that is set up based on different criteria, (#1 name, #2 address, #3 salesman). Find and Replace function not working
I guess you would call it a table, I entered it by hand. Here is a cut &
paste of the list, (I have changed sensitive data), however I have put in a data filter function, that you can not see, on the line that has "name phone etc"So I have added an "^" here to represent that. I am showing grid lines, and have "conditional formated" so that every other row is shaded.
