Formula capturing formatting information

I have a very simple formula in one sheet in a workbook setting a cell equal
to the value of a cell in another sheet. But when I say "equal" I want the
target cell to capture not only the value, but the font colour and bold/not
bold, etc. Can I do this?

No, it will only return the value in the cell,

Has anu body got a workaround for systematically keeping updated a whole load
of cells from one sheet to another, with all their formatting information?
