Another "If" Formula Error
Below is my formula. The formula turns up an error when it finds text instead
of numbers. I would like it to return 1 when it finds text instead of numbers. =IF(OR((0+MID(D42,2,2))*1<2,(0+MID(D42,2,2)16)),1 ,"Assign Division") Thanks in advance for your help. |
Another "If" Formula Error
Forgot to say that the current formula is working. I just want to add that if
it does find text instead of numbers, it needs to equal 1. It still needs to equal 1 if it finds numbers less than 2 or greater than 16. "evoxfan" wrote: Below is my formula. Another "If" Formula Error
Something like this:
=if(or(istext(mid(d42,2,2)),mid(d42,2,2)*1<2,mid(d 42,2,2)*116),1,"Assign Division") or this: =if(and(mid(d42,2,2)*1=2,mid(d42,2,2)*1<=16),"Ass ign Division",1) Regards, Fred.
