Cannot Delete Items in a Cell
 

I cut & paste drop down data from a website into Excel. I cannot delete the
data in the cell. I tried "delete" "clear contents" and all other options
listed under Excel help.

Are you sure that the data is in the cell that you think it is in. Does the
data show up in the formula bar when you select the cell. The other
possibility is that the data pasted as a picutre and is not actually in a
cell. In that case you need to select the picture.
