Colour Pallete in Excel 2007

I have an existing colour pallete on a Excel 2003 file. When I try to copy
the colours from the file on Excel 2007, the colour pallete does not get
updated.

Is there anyway to copy the colour pallete and ensure its reflected on the
colours drop down on my sheet?
