thanks for the website but Im not sure what to look for. It seems that they
are only telling me how to shade every other cell and not specific ones. this site actually just shows how to make a range of cells highlighted and
follow a pattern which is not what i need. I want to figure out how to highlight a group of 3 cells every 28 rows! could you just write it out for me if its not too mnuch trouble? thanks "FSt1" wrote: hi see this site http://www.cpearson.com/excel/banding.htm Regards FSt1 "excelguy" wrote: i want to color/shade row a2:c2, a30:c30 and every 28 rows after a30:c30 in green. i think i have to use the conditional formatting but what should i type in so I dont have to highlight thousands of rows manually. |
