URGENT - Formulas stopped working
 

My formulas in excel 2007 stopped working. I use this sheet everday at work
and need it fixed asap. Anybody have a solution? I checked excel options to
make sure the calculations was set a automatic.

What is displayed in the cells... old, out-of-date values? an error?
something else?

What is the cell(s) formatted as?

Hey Rick
Nothing displays in the cell and the cells. They are blank and they are
formatted as numbers. Its really odd. The sheet has buttons that "add item",
"repeat item", "repeat 10", etc. I was working on the sheet last night and
all was well. When I opened it up today only 2 of the 6 rows I added last
night worked when entered information. The rest of them below didn't. I
deleted them and added more. I even copied the formulas down and the formula
is exactly the same as the rest but nothing happens.

What's the error shown? How has its stopped working?
post your formula so that we can evaluate it
in order to solve it.

=IF(OR(LINTEL="PC",LINTEL="OP"),((SUM((LENGTH+0.66 67)*HEIGHT)+(HEIGHT*0.667))*FACTOR*EA*QTY)-Precast/(VLOOKUP(TYPE,ProductData,3,FALSE)*2)-BBEAMS+(HALF*0.5),((SUM((LENGTH*HEIGHT*QTY*EA)*FAC TOR)-(HALF*0.5)-BBEAMS-CORNERS)))

The formula works in all the rows above. It just quit working in all added
rows. When I click on "Add Item", it copies the formula down and it is
exactly as the rest, but it doesn't work. The cell is blank. No error
message, nothing. And the formula is there. I can copy all data from a row
above and paste it in the row below and still blank. I'm stumped.

The formula works in all the rows above. It just quit working in all added
rows. When I click on "Add Item", it copies the formula down and it is
exactly as the rest, but it doesn't work. The cell is blank. No error
message, nothing. And the formula is there. I can copy all data from a row
above and paste it in the row below and still blank. I'm stumped.

Also, now all of the cells that have formulas has a solid green triangle in
the upper left corner and the message says the formula in this cell refers to
cells that are empty. And the message is accurate because not all cells
contain information. Its just odd that this just occured. I'm ready to toss
the 2007 version and go back to 2003.

Have you found the solution to your issue with the excel formulas not
working? This happened to me recently, and I can't find any problems. They
worked fine for over a year, and now all of a sudden the quit working.
Please let me know if you have an answer to this problem.
