Chart Title = Cell Text?
Excel2003 ...
I wish to have a "Chart Title" = Cell Text. Seems like I have seen this before, but I can't make it happen ... :( Whatever Value is contained in Cell A1 ... This is what I want Chart Title to be. Is this possible? ... Thanks ... Kha |
Chart Title = Cell Text?
Let's assume the chart currently has no title:
Right click the chart;select Chart Options; in the dialog enter some dummy chart title. Now the chart has a title: Click the title; in the Formula bar type an equals sign (=); now click the cell to be linked. You will see something like =Sheet1!$D$1. You cannot type =D1 but you could type =Sheet1!D1 and let Excel add the $s. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme Microsoft Excel MVP http://people.stfx.ca/bliengme remove caps from email "Ken" wrote in message ...
