I would like to seperate the data in a cell into individual cells
Data in cell is ACTR,24VAC,CAPP,332898 I want to seperate out the data by the comma (,) The end result would be Cell 1 = ACTR Cell 2 = 24VAC Cell 3 = CAPP Cell 4 = 332898 The number of characters varies and the comma can be in or out of the end result cells |
Seperating information in a cell
First, highlight the cell(s) in question.
Under Data, go to Text-To-Columns. Choose delimited, and then select the comma as your delimiter. Click finish. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "WBWootton" wrote: I would like to seperate the data in a cell into individual cells Data in cell is ACTR,24VAC,CAPP,332898 I want to seperate out the data by the comma (,) The end result would be Cell 1 = ACTR Cell 2 = 24VAC Cell 3 = CAPP Cell 4 = 332898 The number of characters varies and the comma can be in or out of the end result cells |
