Advanced Filtering 'locks' on large database
 

I am having problems with the Advanced Filter when I have 1700 records.
The list range is hidden and locked, preventing me from seeing the filtered
data.

Below is the information I put in the appropriate places when I go to Data
-Filter - Advanced Filter:

- the List range = $A$11:$BB$1682
- Criteria range = $A$3:$BB$6

Note: Table headings are in Row 11
Note: Criteria headings are in Row 3

When I click the OK button, Row 12 to Row 1682 is hidden and locked. The
only way that I can see the hidden rows is to go to Data - Filter - Show All

What am I doing wrong?
When using a much smaller list range (i.e. 200 records or rows), the
Advanced Filter works great, and I see what I want to see.
