Clean report without any link and formulas
Dear friends pls help me,
I have and Excel file having six work book Wb1, Wb2, Wb3€¦€¦€¦ they are all linked together. I want to send daily report and the daily report is in Wb6. I was trying to save as new work book and save. But the problem is if I send by mail that new saved workbook at the other end it will not open because of the link between the sheets. Is there any way to save only Wb6 as a new file with out any link, I mean only the contents without any formulas and link. Is it possible with a short cut key. Kindly help. |
Clean report without any link and formulas
Hi Udayan,
Yes: 1. make a copy of WB6 2. open the new WB 3. copy the whole of the first worksheet (eg Ctrl-A then Ctrl-C) 4. use Edit|Paste Special|Values to convert all the formulae to their results. 5. repeat steps 3 & 4 for each worksheet in the WB. -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "Udayan" wrote in message ...
