how do I check why the numbers increase from a pivot table

I creat a pivot table from my data, after I see the report in the pivot table
now I have to do a reverse look up on how or why the nubers increase from
last week reports. I try every thing and I do not know how to get the answer
for my reports.

If any one know how to do this please I need your help on this

Thank You

Stacey,

You would need to have a date for each data point, and then you could group the data by date, or use
the date as a page field.

Failing that, you would need to store a copy of the pivot table as values, and use it to compare to
the current pivot table.
