lookup
Good day
I want to be able to lookup in a col and row pull out an number: 18 19 20 21 1 25 26 27 28 2 18 19 20 21 So if match "1" for the col and match "19" for the row I want the function to pull 26 out and place in the cell I been working with this forumla: =INDEX(Points!B$2:AC$46,MATCH("1",Points!B$3:B$46, 0),MATCH("19",Points!C$2:AC$2,0)) Thanks in advance Renwaters |

You have your rows and columns mixed up in your description, but your
formula is searching in the correct places. The range in the INDEX part needs to be changed, and you have to drop those quotes around the numbers, as this will make the formula treat them as text: =INDEX(Points!C$3:AC$46,MATCH(1,Points!B$3:B$46,0) ,MATCH(19,Points!C $2:*AC$2,0)) Hope this helps.
