Can no longer instert symbol in text box
Greetings,
I was able to insert a simple bullet (via Insert Symbol) inside text boxes on my spreadsheet--I'd done it numerous times. Thinking I would be smart, I customized a toolbar to include the Symbol option so I could select it directly, rather than through the Insert menu. However, now when I'm inside a text box, the Symbol option shows as gray, both on the toolbar and from the Insert menu. I've totally screwed up my ability to insert symbols in text boxes now. Any idea what I did wrong? Thanks, as always... |

Uh...well, I'm OK now. I can now enter a bullet via unicode, whereas before
I could not. Also, the unicode number listed for some of the symbols in the Symbol menu yield symbols bearing no resemblance to what is selected. But no matter; I can now enter bullets easily enough. Thanks... "Rutabaga" wrote: Greetings, I was able to insert a simple bullet (via Insert Symbol) inside text boxes on my spreadsheet--I'd done it numerous times.
