How do I find an xls document I completed and saved but seems los
 

I was editing a previously saved xls. chart and saved it with a new name.
Now I can't find the original document nor the edited version with the new
name. How do you find xls. documents. I've already looked under Excel
"Open" and it's not there.

hi,
in the file open diolog, on the menu bar under tools is a search engine. i
think it searches for text inside the document.
if that don't do it, you can do a search from the window start menu. lot of
search options there. pick and choose.
