Can I lock formatting in Excel while keeping the ability to edit?
In Excel 2003, I have some conditionally formatted cells. When others use
the spreadsheet, they sometimes copy/paste information from other workbooks to those cells, which of course eliminates the formatting I have set up. I don't care if they copy/paste, but I need the conditional formatting to be maintained. |

2 options:
a) Create a seperate spreadsheet that contains all your calculations. Have the command button hide/unhide the worksheet. b). Create a seperate workbook, and have the command button open/close the workbook. Either option, you can name it what ever you want, and you can even do a simple 'self-record' to write the macro. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "DK" wrote: In Excel 2003, I have some conditionally formatted cells.
