how to stop changing 15 or 16 digit of number to 0

while typing 16 digit bank account number in excel sheet it 15 and 16 digit
of the same authomatically changed to 0. Please tell me how to stop the same.

Either preceed the value with a single quote when typing or format the cell
to Text before typing.
