xlstart and exported data
Hello, I have created a book and sheet template and have placed this in my
xlstart folder so that when I open excel my custom colors and formatting are there. However, when excel is opened by another program, such as exporting a report, the templates are ignored. Shouldn't excel always use the template in the xlstart folder? Thanks, Jen |
xlstart and exported data
As you have noticed..........when opened from another program, Excel uses
the built-in default "blank workbook" You will find the same thing if you go to FileNew...Blank Workbook. Excel will open the default, not your customized. I know of no way to get around that.
