security med-but still wont open with macros
Thanks alot for any help.
I open an Excel file from Windows Explorer, and sometimes it won't ask if I want to enable macros. Then since it didn't ask, and I have to use a macro, I gotta close the file and retry opening again. It seems on the third try it will ask me if I want to enable macros. The problem is that this is a big file (15MB or so) and it takes 30 seconds to one minute every time I open this, which might be a couple times a day. I checked my security level right now (Tools) and it is already set at medium, so I don't think it should be asking. How do I set it so that it will ask me to enable macros every time? Thanks again for any help. |

Security set at medium should always ask if you want to enable macros.
When it doesn't ask and macros won't run have a look under HelpAbout MS Excel and look at "Disabled Items" Anything there you can re-enable?
