Update an Excel 2007 pivot in Excel 2003

Hi,

You can update a pivot table made in 2007 in 2003. But you must create the
pivot table as a 2003 pivot table. The easiest way to do that is to create
it in 2003. But in 2007 you can do it by 1. Save your 2007 file as a 2003
file. 2. Close and reopen the file (now in compatibilty mode). 3. Create
the pivot table. 4. when you save the file do not convert it to 2007.

Now the pivot table can be opened and used in both versions, however, in
2007 you will loose many of the nice new features.
