i don't understand what this means....... The process of dispalying a subset
of rows in a table that meets the criteria you specify is called what? the "subset" is what is throwing me off |

Are you talking about SUBTOTOAL?
When you filter rows you see a SUBSET of the rows... SUBTOTAL adjusts to show the 'total' of the filtered rows... "unknowlegeable" wrote: i don't understand what this means.......
