Some users don't need the "message space" to explain their issues.
 

From the explanation on the subject, I'd like to ask why
the system is set up in a way that if users don't write anything
in this space (message), answers can not be summitted giving an
error message. Is there any way around this to solve it?
Basically most new users are unaware of this situation and it's a technical
issue.

While technically you may be write but it is polite to use the body of the
text to describe the problem and solution sought...

I will try to be as polite as possible, but

If you can adequately describe the problem you are experiencing in a maximum
of say ten words, which is about as much as will fit into the heading
portion, once published on the net, do you then really have a problem? You
will notice, as you browse through posts on the net, that most problems are a
lot more complex than that! Personally, I refuse to answer a question if the
person seeking assistance does not even offer me the opportunity to get
insight into his/her problem! When the person's message is then still cut
off, because the heading is too long, why would I bother to try and
understand what the problem is? After all, I browse these newsgroups for my
own insight and pleasure, not because I get paid to do it! If I am then
confronted by what is generally considered as rudeness, I ignore that post.
In closing, I have to point out that most of the eople replying to posts on
the usergroups are highly skilled AND rather busy with their own tasks. I
think the chance of coming across a guy like me, who has lots of time
available, is minute.

Show enough courtesy to allow the guy who is trying to help you to do just
that, without him/her having to wonder what it is that you actually want to
know!

If you look back at your answers, you'll find the answer.
Tell me you have not repeated a posted question just because you cannot
answer it
without someone putting the body.
NEW USERS ARE UNAWARE OF THIS PROBLEM , and at least if the tecnical problem
is solved, you can answer back and let them know to write in the body.. I'm
not justifing them, but looking for a better way for NEW USERS.

Congrats Sheelo, your are the closest one to the problem at hand here.
Technical problems could be solved, does not mean I agree with doing
just the SUBJECT without the body.

want to be with me, if not then don't be I can handle it, seen worst.
However you also fail to see the problem at hand here. I agree with most of
your stament but that was not my point at all.

I think MS actually uses the ratings for something. Responders who get rated
as having answered the question reach certain levels and I guess this could
even lead to being awarded MVP.

On the web interface there are 4 recognized levels of contributors: Bronze,
Silver, Gold, MVP.
