lost insert hyperlink option on right click
 

I used to have an option to insert hyperlink on my right click in excel. It
is gone now, can I put it back in? I know I can use the tool bar, but I
liked having it on my mouse, I use it alot.

Hi,

Is it gone or just grayed out?

Make sure you are not "in" the cell, not in the Edit Mode. You also don't
get the command at all if you right click a row or column.

The command can be removed via vba, but I doubt that is your problem.

You can also press Ctrl+K, the Add or Edit Hyperlink shortcut key.

Alt + F11 to open VBE.

ViewImmediate Window.

Copy this into that window and hit ENTER key.

Application.CommandBars("Cell").reset
