How do I scan text to EXCEL 2000 and NOT have it in picture foremat?

hi
do you have an OCR reader? most scanners come with them now-a-days. check
your scanner's documentation. without an OCR reader to transfer the scanned
image back into text, i'm afraid you have a problem.

Use a good OCR application.

Your scanner should have software bundled with it.
