Formats Not Saving
I have a workbook sent to me from someone else, I will format cells in the
workbook for dates, currency, column widths, row heights, etc... The problem is, I will save the workbook and the next time it is opened all formatting will be gone. All the information entered is still in the cells but but any type of formatting reverts back to the formats of a new workbook. This is the only workbook that this is happening to, I'm pretty sure that there is a setting some where to correct this but I'm not finding it. Could anyone give any advice to change this? I'm using Excel 2007 and saving as 97-2003 format. |
Formats Not Saving
A little update as I've trying to figure this out. I'll save the workbook in
the 2007 format (.xlsx) and any format changes will save when it is reopened. When I save it again back to the 97-2003 format (.xls) the formats are gone again. Maybe this will help oneone with any ideas. "jtinne" wrote: I have a workbook sent to me from someone else, I will format cells in the workbook for dates, currency, column widths, row heights, etc...
