Total Cell Characters Count
My boss has typed a large amount in an excel cell and it will not show all
that he has typed. I have searched and can not find how many characters are allowed in each cell and if there is a way to allow all the characters to show in the cell. |
Total Cell Characters Count
Excel will show about 1000 characters in cell unless you do something special.
Add alt-enters (to force new lines within the cell) every 80-100 characters to see more. If you try this and see #######'s, make sure the cell is formatted as General (not Text). You can see how long the string is with a formula like: =len(a1) You can see the limits and specifications that excel has by searching Excel's help for Specifications. (but you won't see this alt-enter technique.) unekme wrote: My boss has typed a large amount in an excel cell and it will not show all that he has typed.
