Pasting data as 'text' from 2 different applications
 

I am trying to import an excel spreadsheet from Excel into a Siebel
application (Oracle). If te data is pasted in excel from 2 different excel
sessions open as paste special 'text' from the dialog box (bitmap, unicode
text, text...etc), the data will be uploaded into Siebel application with no
errors. However If I paste data is converted as 'text' from the format menu
format cells dialog box number tab category some some unknown reason the
data can not be imported to this Siebel application.
I would like to know if the cell format is different from copying as paste
special 'text' and by selecting 'text' from the format menu format cells.
