Breaking external Links
I have an Excel 2000 file that has a number of external links that do not
have any relevance to the current report. No cells are linked there anymore, yet the link remains in the Edit/Links area. I know in later versions of Excel all you had to do is select the link in the Edit/Links area and click on "Break Link", but that isnt an option in Excel 2000. Is there a way to break only external links in this worksheet without having to copy the data to a new worksheet? Many thanks. -- Just a fellow Excel user here to help when I can..... |
Breaking external Links
Look for Bill Manville's "Find Link" add-in here... http://www.oaltd.co.uk/MVP/Default.htm (90000 downloads) Or for a possibly quickie fix, do a search for "[" on the worksheet. -- Jim Cone Portland, Oregon USA "Red" wrote in message I have an Excel 2000 file that has a number of external links that do not have any relevance to the current report.
