Does Excel have the ability to have a table of contents on the left side of
the row numbers?

I have a saved excel file that has, what looks to be, a table of contents set
up on the left side. I maybe wrong in calling it that. You see this type of
set up in your pdf files when it's set up like a book (the plus and minus' on
the left hand side that open and closes pages).

Select Data tab, Outline.
