when I import month and day get flipped
When I import a date from an external source, my date month and day get
flipped unless the day is greater than 12 then it reverts to text. Any suggestions on what to do? |

When I export from one system it opens a version of excel, regardless of if i

You need to make the Wizard appear. Export from your app as either .csv or
..txt Then open Excel and: Data Import External Data Import Data... and point to the .txt file This forces the Wizard to appear. The option of exporting from the origional source as .txt or .csv is not

So export to Word, then save as text.
