Pivot Table Formats

I use pivot tables very frequently, and find the built in report formats (in
the pivot tble tool bar) are very limited.

I usually end up using one of these built in report formats, and then modify
it to fit my needs.

Is there any way to save a format, so the next time I create a pivot table,
I can use the same format?

Or is there a source to download other Pivot Table Report Formats and
save/load them into Excel?

Thanks much,

Pivot Table Formats

Hi,

It sounds like you are using Excel 2003 or earlier. In 2007 you can create,
modify and save custom pivot table styles. And there are many more choices
to start with.

You can't save the changes you make to a style as a modified style.

You might look at the download from he

I haven't tried it so I can't say whether it will meet your needs or not.

In 2003 maybe the best you can do is record a macro that applies the custom
formatting you want, and that can be pretty tricky sometimes.
