Default Pivot Table Data Source

Every time I e-mail a 2007 Excel file, the pivot table data source is lost.
This never happened in Excel 2003. Any ideas on how to prevent this from
occurring? Thanks in advance.

I don't have 2007 but in 2003 there is a checkbox to make sure that the data
travels with the pivot table.
Right click anywhere within the pivot table.
Select 'Table Options'.
The PivotTable Options window will appear.
In the 'Data Soruces' area at the bottom, make sure the 'Save Data With
Table Layout' checkbox is checked.

Hope this helps.
If it does, please click the Yes button.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Thanks for the suggestion! When I went to "Table Options" I found "Save
Source Data with File", which I'm guessing is the equivalent of the check box
you mentioned in XL2003. It was already checked, so I'll try unchecking it
and see if that makes any difference. Sorry for the delay in responding.
