I can't seem to create the formula for start hours and end hours. I know
there is a simple way, but i cannot find it. I want to create a formula that subtracts the start time of an employee from the end time. |
Calculating pay hours
hi
your request is rather vague so i can only give a vaque answer. assuming that start time is in A2 and end time is in B2... =MOD(A2-B2,1) but perhaps you might get some ideas from this.. http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/files/timesht.htm a downloadable spread sheet that calculates time sheets including overtime. AND see this site.. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/overtime.htm no download required. formulas are displayed.
