why aren't my headers and footers visible on the pages?
 

Hi,

In 2003 you can see them in Print Preview, in the File, Page Setup box,
Header/Footers tab, or when printing.

In 2007 all of the above and on screen live by choosing Page Layout View.

Why? Because that is how Microsoft has set up the program.
