Formula with blank cells
Sheeloo provides a solution covering all cases. If the only possible entries
in D3 are A, G or S, then it could be simplified to just: =IF(D3="A",C3 * E2),"") Basically this one says to provide value of C3 * E2 only when D3 = "A" - any other entry in D3 results in nothing displayed in E3.
