mail merge training

Do you have any mail merge training that is on video? Because I am having
trouble understanding how to mail merge from just reading how to do it on
your website.

Thankyou

Hi David

this is a user-based peer to peer network where excel users can post
questions and various people will attempt to answer them - i'm sure there
are a lot of people around who might be able to suggest training material
that could help, but if you'ld like to let us know what versions of excel &
word you're using and where you're getting stuck with the mail merge - you
might be able to save yourself some money :)

Cheers
JulieD

There's a video here for Word 2002 and MS Works:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=832796

It would be similar using Word and Excel.

And it's not a video, but you may find the information on the Word MVP
site helpful:

As already said this is peer to peer, questions and answers in a newsgroup,
so most help here is related to reading plain text, or HTML pages.

I would suggest my own page
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/mailmerg.htm
to start with -- it is for printing labels. Then if you want to print
letters one of the other references would be a good place to
continue.

For something closer to a video (meaning more pictures) see
Debra Dalgleish's site http://www.contextures.com
