Protect/Restrict usage of a range of cells.
Hi,
I have a status report which i want my entire team to access and fill it. However, it has some formulae which are being accidentally deleted by some of them. Is there any way that i can protect a particular range of cells in a worksheet? Regards, Sri Harsha. |

Hi,
You can use the command : Tools - Protect - Allow User to Edit Ranges. Here you can allow users to edit the ranges but please make sure that you protect the worksheet before allowing them to edit. Thanks. -- Dilip Kumar Pandey MBA, BCA, B.Com(Hons.) New Delhi, India "Sri Harsha" wrote: Hi, I have a status report which i want my entire team to access and fill it. The other option is to use Tools/ Protection/ Protect worksheet, having used
Format/ Cells/ Protection to set which cells are going to be locked when you apply the protection to the sheet and which will not be locked. -- David Biddulph "DILipandey" wrote in message ...
