Protect/Restrict usage of a range of cells.

Hi,
I have a status report which i want my entire team to access and fill it.
However, it has some formulae which are being accidentally deleted by some of
them. Is there any way that i can protect a particular range of cells in a
worksheet?

Regards,
Sri Harsha.

Hi,

You can use the command : Tools - Protect - Allow User to Edit Ranges.

Here you can allow users to edit the ranges but please make sure that you
protect the worksheet before allowing them to edit.

Thanks.

The other option is to use Tools/ Protection/ Protect worksheet, having used
Format/ Cells/ Protection to set which cells are going to be locked when you
apply the protection to the sheet and which will not be locked.
