Link data
I have created 4 individual workbooks (A, B, C, &D) that link to our master
workbook - total of 5. At 4:30 each day, my manager or I will go in to the master workbook and pull the summary report created in the master workbook. Sounds easy...but this is the problem. I want to keep a copy of the summary for that day, in the meanwhile, delete the old data from workbooks A, B, C & D so that other managers can go in and key new data the next day and at 4:30 each day we'll be able to print a new report without losing old data in the Master workbook. May export reports to a different workbook? I don't know...Any suggestions? |
Link data
Hi,
Create a second summary sheet. The return to the original one and select all the data, choose Copy. Move to the second summary sheet and choose Edit, Paste Special, Values. This sheet will be static, the other one will remain dynamic. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "ml" wrote: I have created 4 individual workbooks (A, B, C, &D) that link to our master workbook - total of 5.
