under Excel 2007
can I change the size/shape of the handles showed when I select a chart
object
it'd showed as huge circles compared to Excel 2000

Hi,

I am afraid we have no control of the handle shapes or sizes. However, I'm
not seeing what you are getting. If I click the edge of the chart not
circles appear, instead I get a border around the entire chart with four dot
in a line one the left, right, top and bottom border and four dots in a
square at the corners.

If I select the Plot Area I see four circles at the corners, but they aren't
huge, and I see four squares on the sides which aren't huge either.

You might want to put a screen shot of your chart at a location where we can
check it out.

it's not the full chart I meant but a single object, for example a small
text object as a comment, inside the chart's area

Hi,

Well those handles are the same ones as show up around the plot area and you
can't change their size in Excel. There might be a registry entry to do it
but I tend to avoid those types of solutions.

People have been complaining for years that the handles are too small so
Microsoft made them larger. You just can't please all of the people all of
the time!
