Excel 2007 Crashes

When I attempt to open an excel file with Excel 2007 created in Excel 2003
that has links, Excel 2007 crashes. I already installed all office 2007
patches.

Does anyone have any suggestions to troubleshoot this? Is this a known
issue with Excel 2007?
