Save a file to disk without re-formating the disk

Every time I try to save a file - any file - copy to, send to to a CD I"m
prompted to format the disk. The next widow then warns that the formating
will take a long time - and it does. How do I go directly into the saving
process, there has to be a way.

You should never try to save from Excel to a CD. Save to your hard disk,
then copy to CD.

You need to have a Rewritable disk which has not been 'closed' so that files
can be added and 'send' the file from Explorer (assuming you are using
Windows)...
